Tell us about yourself in form of a meme or gif:

Tell us about yourself with 2 truths and a lie:

  • I have visited every continent on Earth.
  • I secretly covet being a successful author and have published books.
  • While I have no fear in riding the craziest rides, I am super scared of watching a horror movie.

What is your single most favorite food?

French fries – any day, any time.

If you could have any dream guest attend dinner with you, who would it be and why?

J.K. Rowling – The woman, her work and her life – I am super impressed by them all.

What has you most excited about joining the Zenefits team?

I am most often in a state of “Zen” myself. Every person from Zenefits that I have met and talked to so far, have all been amazing. I am drawn to the dedication of the people, the culture and the passion that has driven Zenefits to where it is at and where it will take the company in the coming years.

Tell us something that you’re excited to accomplish at ZenNation:

Zenefits has had tremendous growth and a clear vision on its goals thus far. It seems to me that the future is not very distant when ZenNation will reach the pinnacle of success. To be a part of that journey and to contribute towards that success is what I am looking forward to the most.

Who inspires you and why?

My late grandfather. His thirst for knowledge (on all topics) and his awesome memory never faded until the day he passed at the age of 89. From him I have learnt that every day that we get to live, is an opportunity to learn something new.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Who gave you that advice?

“Without ego, you can go on. With ego, you are gone!” I have heard this from my mother since childhood. She couldn’t be more correct on this one – be it at workplace or in our personal lives, being grounded and staying humble takes one far ahead than having an ego or becoming over-confident.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?

I would love to time travel. I am often intrigued by how our ancestors lived and would love to pay them a visit. Sneaking some time to go back to my own childhood and re-live some of those cherished days would be an added bonus!

What does a perfect Saturday look like to you?

A good book, a glass of wine, a good movie and popcorn!
