I would have to say it’s the mobile iOS application I’m currently working on with a colleague in our Vancouver office. I’m not sure if I can share the name of it yet, but it started out as a Hackathon project that eventually gained some momentum and earned funding. This is my favorite part about working at a company like Zenefits. Zenefits encourages creativity, rewards innovation, and pushes its employees to be the best they can be. I’m proud to work in an environment and culture that continues to keep me excited about the projects I’m working on as well as one that motivates me to continue to grow professionally.

Describe your perfect Sunday
My perfect Sunday consists of waking up around 8am. This is the optimal time for my circadian rhythm and coincidentally, it provides me the ability to catch the NFL pregame shows so I can set my fantasy football lineup accordingly. I would then make a big breakfast, the most important meal of the day. I make banana pancakes, sunny-side up eggs, hickory smoked bacon, and bowl of fresh blueberries. I pair it with an iced coffee and an orange juice. As I eat my breakfast, I watch my two favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers, win their respective football games. If they’re playing each other, then SKOL baby. After enjoying my breakfast and morning football games, I hit the links. Doesn’t matter what golf course as long as it is 18 holes and not too many dog legs. If we’re staying in the Bay Area I would prefer Tilden Park, or a course in my hometown of Hayward, CA, like TPC Stonebrae or SkyWest Golf Course. After a round of golf, I would have built quite the appetite and also be wondering how my family is doing. I would visit my parents, siblings, and grandmother to eat a nice Filipino dinner. Together we enjoy pork adobo, chicken inasal, and beef caldereta as well as a wealth of nostalgic family stories. The sun begins to set as I realize, I should begin to head home before I get too tired. At home, I open a new bottle of Malbec from Argentina and pour myself a glass as I watch the Sunday night episode of the Walking Dead. I slowly dose off thinking of how amazing my Sunday was…
If you could have dinner with three celebrities or public figures (at the same time), who would you invite?
